P7 Leavers Newspaper Pull-Out
The Cumnock Chronicle are running a pull-out of P7 leavers and they are looking for East Ayrshire schools south of Kilmarnock to submit individual pictures of pupils who are finishing up for inclusion in the paper.
They are looking for individual photos of pupils to be sent across to ayrshireschools@newsquest.co.uk along with the pupils name and school they are leaving.

Please find attached above an information booklet for parents/carers of children who will be starting Primary 1 in August.
If you require any additional information which has not been covered in the booklet, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our utmost to support.
I am currently working on a child friendly information book which can be read with your child and explains the routine of the Primary 1 day. This will be available in the next few days.

P7’s Robert Burns Academy Transition Evening
Robert Burns Academy – Primary Transition Meeting
Wednesday 12th May 2021 – 6pm
To all P7 parents and carers
The Robert Burns Academy will be hosting information evenings to discuss the transition process for your child into secondary school. This information evening will be held virtually via V-Scene. Details of how to join using your computer or phone are attached to this message. The meeting will be hosted by Mr McGurn (Depute Head Teacher), supported by members of the Pupil Support Team who are leading the transition activities.
The purpose of this meeting is to go over the arrangements for this year’s transition programme, including school visits in June, as well as answering the frequently asked questions about the school day at The Robert Burns Academy.
