School Water Bottles

As part of our Clean Green agenda, we are keen to reduce the amount of waste we have. One way our Clean Green Team were keen to do this was by encouraging the use of reusable water bottles in the classroom.

To support us with this, our Parent Council have kindly donated a reusable school water bottle for every child in P1 and P2.

We ask that you make sure your child’s name is on it, with either a permanent marker pen or a sticky name label to avoid these getting mixed up.

A huge thank you to our Parent Council for this thoughtful gesture!

Summer Fayre Success

A massive well done to our hard working Parent Council on another fantastic event for New Cumnock Primary School. The rain certainly didn’t dampen any of our New Cumnock spirit!

It was great to see so many parents, children, staff and members of our community supporting the school.

Thank you everyone!

A huge well done to Lottie J who won the Guess the Bears Name competition, she is now the proud owner of ‘Bubbles’!

Summer Fayre 7/6/25

Our annual Summer Fayre will be held on Saturday 7th June from 12-2pm. Please see below for more information.

We are hopeful that this lovely weather continues so we can host it in the playground!

We need your help

If you are able to support us at a stall at the Summer Fayre, please contact a member of the Parent Council or contact the school to note your interest and someone from the Parent Council will be in touch.

Dress Down Day

The Parent Council will be hosting a ‘Shorts and Shades’ Dress Down Day next Friday 23rd May. Children can come to school in their play clothes and sunglasses for the day.

There will not be monetary cost to this, we ask instead for your child to bring along a chocolate donation, which the Parent Council will then use to make up hampers for the upcoming Summer Fayre.

Did you know?

If you would like to be a part of this positive contribution to our school and to the lives of our young people, please join us!!!
