Calling all singers! We are making a virtual choir video of two songs for Primary 6 & 7. The songs are “Somewhere Only We Know” and “Eye of the Tiger”. The idea is that you would record your video at home on a phone and send it in. The resulting choir would be posted on East Ayrshire Twitter/Facebook pages.

To participate fill in the form (by clicking the link below). You will be added to a TEAM where you will receive instructions what to do.

Happy Easter Holidays!

This term has been very a different one after a long period of Remote Learning, and we again want to thank our families for being our partners in learning during this time. We are so happy to have all our children back in school and to round off the term we are sending each of them home with an Easter egg from the school.

We have also kindly received gift bags for each child from New Cumnock Parish Church and these will be distributed after the holiday to allow them to be quarantined before our young people bring them home.

We wish you all a safe and relaxing Easter holiday.

Leisure & Sport in New Cumnock – Investing in Communities 2021/2022

A message from the New Cumnock Development Trust

Development Trust - www.newcumnockcommunity.co.uk
Over the coming year in my role as ICF Community Engagement & Volunteer Coordinator I am keen to provide more accessible sporting and leisure activities in our community.  Suitable for people of all ages and abilities.
To ensure that the activities provided are what the community wants I would be grateful if you could complete the survey below, using the link.  It would be of great benefit to the programme if everyone in your household could complete the survey.
I understand that you may feel at this time that you are receiving a lot of information digitally and this can be frustrating, for myself included.  However, your participation is massively appreciated and hopefully in the near future when it is safe to do so we can once again have community conversations in person.
Thanks for your time, if you wish to discuss Investing in Communities further, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Best Wishes,
Tammy

World Book Day 2021

On Thursday 4th March, the whole school enjoyed celebrating World Book Day. Our P1-3 children came into school dressed as their favourite book characters and enjoyed taking part in activities in class such as designing book covers and decorating bookmarks.

Despite our P4-7s being at home Remote Learning, they weren’t going to miss out on the World Book Day fun! They too enjoyed dressing up as their favourite book characters and taking part in activities such as ‘The Masked Reader’ and guessing the book titles from Emojis.
