Rascals Out of School Care is a childcare service that offers breakfast club from 7:30am – 9am and afterschool club from 3pm – 6pm every week day within the Nether Robertland Primary School, Stewarton. We also offer holiday childcare which we call Playscheme and this operates during the hours of 8am to 6pm.
We have children from 3 to 16 years old, children who do not attend N.R.P.S are welcome to join us at Rascals!
Rascals OSC began in August 1995 and is a registered charity.
Parents of children who currently attend Rascals OSC volunteer as charity trustees and this forms the parent committee team.
Rascals OSC has access to the dining room within the school which we use as our main space along with the school’s gym hall and the outdoor grounds.

InspectionOn the 21st of January 2025, we had an inspection from Care Inspectorate, which took place over 3 days. We were inspected on 4 key areas, which included our care, play and learning, the setting, our leadership and our staff team. We are so proud to announce that we achieved 4 very goods, and have improved in 2 areas since our last inspection, and have met all of our areas for improvement.It was highlighted that “Staff provided a warm welcoming atmosphere for families and parents were welcomed into the service” and “Staff were warm, kind and caring in their interactions with children”.We want to thank all of our children and families for your continuous support and we will continue to provide high quality provision in a nurturing environment.
