Answer Machine Not Working
We have realised that our telephone answering machine is not registering messages left by parents/carers. It is allowing people to leave messages but they are not coming through on our system.
A call has been logged today with our telephone engineer to hopefully have this resolved as soon as possible.
In the meantime, if your child is absent from school, please make sure you make direct contact with the school office .

Pantomime 2025
Sleeping Beauty at the Galleon Leisure Centre, Kilmarnock
We appreciate it may be far too early for a lot of parents/carers to even think about, but we are beginning to arrange our calendar of events taking place between now and the Christmas break!😯
With this in mind, we are going to be booking this years’ local pantomime – Sleeping Beauty, which is to be held in the Galleon Centre. This will be a whole school outing on Tuesday 2nd December at 10am. The cost of the ticket and transport is £16 per child. The box office need EXACT numbers of tickets no later than Monday 15th September.
In order to give everyone plenty of time to pay for this, we plan to offer an initial deposit of £8 due via Parentpay by Monday 8th September. You will be able to access this from today onwards.
This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE and secures a ticket for your child. If we do not receive a deposit, we will be unable to purchase a ticket for your child.
There will then be one further final payment of £8 required by Friday 31st October.
If any families are worried about the cost of this please contact the school office as soon as possible.
If your child does not wish to attend the Pantomime please let us know by Monday 8th September by contacting the school office.

Heads of Ayr Trip Information
Tomorrow is our whole school trip to Heads of Ayr Farm Park.
Just a few little bits of housekeeping to take note of prior to the trip:

- All children attending the trip should be in school by 9am sharp to allow the teachers to take the register, organise lunches, medication/first aid and groupings.
- Any children NOT attending the trip should NOT come into school as there is no staff provision for them.
- Children should wear school polo shirt and sweatshirt and should have on leggings or joggers (not shorts) as they will be using the slides at the soft play. Socks must also be worn .
- Packed lunches from home should be brought in a carrier bag so it can be disposed of afterwards.
- Buses will leave the school at 9.30am sharp.
At the end of the day children will be dismissed from their classes at the usual time.
We are keeping our fingers crossed for good weather and hope everyone has a fun day!
