National Parental Involvement & Engagement Census

As a valued parent we would appreciate your support in completing the National Parental Involvement and Engagement Census. The Census wants to hear from all parents to help drive continuing improvements in educational outcomes for their child(ren) and can be accessed via the following link :

Primary – https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/EACPrimaryParentalSurvey/

Parents have until 31st May 2019 to complete the survey.

Parenting Club – link to website

Parent Club, www.parentclub.scot goes live today. The replaces ‘Feedgood’. The rationale for this is to bring all the Scottish Government communications to parents under one single communications strategy framed around the needs of parents, providing solutions to daily parenting problems. The information offers information about breastfeeding, the Baby Boxes and also signpost parents on to other relevant areas of the site like safe sleeping, pregnancy and first days.

RAG BAG

It’s time once again to look out any clothes, shoes etc that are in need of being recycled.

The children were all provided with a RAG BAG today to bring home.

The collection is on Thursday 16th May. Thank you!

ACCB REPORT APRIL 2019

At Mauchline Primary School and ECC we support and encourage our upper school children to participate in the Auchinleck and Cummnock Concert Band.

Over the next few weeks, interested children in the upper school will have an opportunity to experience the ‘Kick Start’ programme via a demonstration session within the school.

Attached is a report detailing the programme that is offered.

Many Thanks: Art Attack!

We are very fortunate that Carol from “Many Thanks” has offered to display some of the pupils’ art work during the month of May. It is lovely to have the opportunity to display work in a gallery setting. Art work will be delivered on Tuesday 30th April ready to be hung in May. Drop in and enjoy looking at the super work the pupils have produced. This is a great follow up to the very successful Shop Window Project.
