Road Safety Week 15th – 21st November

Children across the school took part in activities to raise awareness about Road Safety and recognise the important part we all play in helping to keep ourselves and others safe on the roads.

Safe Parking Campaign

 

We have been super busy this week promoting our Safe Parking Campaign to make drop off and pick up times at the School and ECC safer for all pupils.

Road Safety Week 15th – 21st November

 

Pupils will be taking part in various activities this week to raise awareness of road safety.

We are running our road safety week competition, where pupils have been challenged with designing their own “Road safety Superhero.” Class teacher will hand out the template for this.

Entries can be submitted into the JRSO Competition Box (next to our Display) by Friday 19th November.

We as JRSO’s will also be out and about in the community during the week helping to promote our safer parking campaign.

Greener Transport Competition

 

Today The JRSO have set all pupils at Mauchline Primary School a special design competition.

Task

We would like you to come up with a colourful logo which shows what you think your future of green transport looks like.

Pro tip: We would like our future logo to include less or no cars!

 

Read the attached information all about Greener Transport to help your child you with their design logo.  

You can use the logo template ( which as ben sent home)or your own sheet of blank A4 paper for your logo.
