Electricity Safety

Electricity safety is an important message that many families may not always be aware of, yet it plays a crucial role in keeping children and communities safe. By helping us share this information, you are supporting the protection of our children and their families from potential electrical hazards in and around the home.

Our P6 class have been looking at this through the SP Energy Networks safe friendly schools programme, Powerwise.

To support this important message, SP Energy Networks has provided an electricity safety postcard for parents and carers. The postcard highlights key electricity safety tips designed to help families stay safe at home.

Thank you for your continued support and for helping us promote electricity safety within the community.

Big Walk and Wheel 2026

We are taking part in Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel to encourage as many people as possible to make active travel journeys to school.

  • Travelling actively is great exercise and helps us stay healthy.
  • Travelling actively to school means we arrive more alert and ready to learn!
  • Walking, wheeling, cycling and scooting to school is fun!
  • More people travelling actively to school means cleaner air, less traffic and less noise around the school.

So, let us encourage you to make an active travel journey by…        walking       wheeling      cycling     scooting      or                                        park and stride to school!

Thank you for your support.
