Easter Bunny Game

I have created an Easter bunny version of the classic beetle drive game.

There are different versions of this game but I have tried to keep the rules as simple as possible.

I love a Beetle Drive and the children love playing them too – have a go and let me know how it went.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

To link with this morning’s Tweet here is a link to an animated version of the story.  The children have seen this before at assembly and it’s one of my personal favourites!!

Download this colourful set of small images for the younger children to cut out and use as stick puppets based on The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

You can print the images out, let the children cut them out then stick them onto lollipop sticks or pieces of card.

Now let your child retell the story in their own words – even let them add their own favourite food/snacks. Enjoy

Have a safe Easter break

To the pupils, parents and all staff members of Mauchline PS & ECC

Please have a restful and safe Easter break.

Try to have some fun and some long lies!

We will see you all again in two weeks, ready to begin our online learning once again.

Take care

Mouse Trap

Just had to add this to the main page.  How clever are Callan and his dad? They found a mouse and wanted to catch it, but not hurt it, and move it to a safer place. They built a humane trap to catch and release it. Isn’t it so sweet?

The Cool to Be Kind Project

Leah Norman and Leanne McPherson, nurses at Cumnock Hospital, have sent out a plea for children to donate artwork to cheer up both patients and staff.
Please read the message below and send your masterpieces to our local hospital by email to:

leah.norman@aapct.scot.nhs.uk

Let’s work together to raise the spirits of everyone, including our marvellous NHS!

Easter Activities

It’s almost time for the Easter holidays and I am sure everyone is busy trying out Ms Dougan’s daily challenges – this week all Easter-themed. Remember to send us your photographs – you can add them to Twitter, email your teacher or email me (Mrs Cross).

My Glow email is:    easusan.cross1@glow.sch.uk

Since we are missing our Easter Service I have included a Powerpoint all about the Easter Story.

There is also a link to a really easy Easter craft to brighten up the house over the next few weeks.
