Primary 1 have been exploring numbers to 10. Here are some pictures of pupils writing some numbers.

We have been exploring 3D-Shapes and have built towers to see what shapes stack on top of each other.
Primary 1 took part in a Pudsey Bear physical activity challenge, we were to ‘Bearpees’ where the pupils would do a push up and jump up in the air performing the move as shown by Joe Wicks. We had great fun!
Primary 1 have been been exploring addition up to 10. We have been playing snakes and ladders with addition calculations to make sure counting is fun. 
Primary 1 have been practicing returning to base games during gym this term. We have completed races where we need to complete an obstacle course and return back to where we started. 
Primary 1 had a great time at our Christmas party, we danced and played party games and handed out presents to the winners.

Primary 1 enjoyed learning about castles and had a go at making one themselves.
Primary 1 have explored symmetry. They have made a symmetrical pictures using lolly pop sticks and matched their partners picture showing a mirror image.
Primary 1 completed easter related activities and made an easter bunny using their own hand print as a template.
