Literacy – Leisure Reading

20-30mins reading a book/audio-book of your choice. If you fancy trying an audio-book then audible.co.uk have free ones just now. Its super to hear that so many of you are reading at home with your families.

Numeracy – Addition

Complete as many or as little as you can – the answers are attached for you to double check and make corrections once you have finished. Please don’t stress about finishing it, Ill be happy with whatever you can manage. 3d+3d

PE – Workout

Complete the following – 30 scissor kicks/15 squats/15 press ups/30sec wall sit. Do this circuit 3 times. Enjoy!

Weekly Challenge Calendar

Good morning P4B, I hope you are all okay. Sunny again today so spend some time outside if you can. Being safe and happy during this time is the most important thing so please don’t worry if you cant complete any work. I know you are doing lots of tasks and activities with your families.

Numeracy 

Draw 6 to 8 clocks on a piece of paper and draw some times on them (perhaps use different colours for each hand to make it clear which is which). Remember the long hand points to the minutes and the short hand to the hour.

Under or beside each clock, write the time shown in digital e.g. 3.15

Feel free to decorate or colour your page to brighten it up if you wish.

I have attached some french word cards. Please look carefully at these and try to learn some of them. Then, on paper or typed, please draw pictures of your family and label them with the appropriate french names.

You can add any family members you like! You will find more words on Google (eg by typing in “french word for step-brother” etc).

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well and enjoying the sunshine. I was in school yesterday and needed quite a bit of sun cream to avoid burning to a crisp. Please spend time outside while we can, making sure you are staying safe. Starting this week all tasks will have 3 days to complete to give you some extra time.

Literacy

Create a leaflet or poster giving people ideas of what they could do in the nice weather this week. It could be riding your bike, reading outside, going a run or playing some games. I’m interested how many different things you can come up with. You can use pictures or bullet points and the design is totally up to you.

Numeracy

HAM Games – Bubble Burst/Marching Madness. These are both time games and can be accessed through BugClub.
