  • ECC Learning Week Commencing 8.6.26-12.6.26

    I n d o o r s – Indoors this week the children began exploring families. Recognising different types of families and different people within a family. They began looking at the concept of looking after a baby – bathing them, changing and feeding. The children also displayed great turn taking and sharing skills with the different baby resources. The children explored the small world space by creating their own houses.   • Early Years Clothing Grant

    Applications will open on Tuesday 16 June for the early years footwear and clothing grant for academic year 2026/27 for parents/guardians of children due to access a place from the start of the new term in August 2026 (children whose date of birth is between 1 March 2022 and 31 August 2023 and any children accessing an additional year of early learning and childcare if they meet the eligibility criteria). Applications will remain open until 4pm on Friday 10 July. Anyone missing the deadline will not be able to apply until the applications re-open in January 2027. Payment of the grant will be made

  • Health Week

    During Health Week, P2 took part in a wide range of exciting activities. The pupils participated in activities such as curling, laser tag, litter picking, food tastings and a silent disco. Throughout the week, they demonstrated enthusiasm, teamwork and resilience while taking part in both active and educational experiences. The variety of activities encouraged the children to think about physical health, wellbeing, safety and caring for their community. A huge thank you to our local optician, the Fire and Rescue Service, the Cotton Trail and Lochside for visiting our school and helping to make Health Week such an enjoyable and
