Primary 1 have been working with single digit numbers while Primary 2 have been working with teen numbers.

Maths 2D shape

We have all been looking at the properties of 2D shapes and identifying them. We enjoyed a shape hunt.

Literacy

Primary 1 have finished learning the first set of sounds s,a,t,i,p,n. They have homework in their bags and please visit our phonics page to revise these sounds by clicking the yellow button.

Primary 2 have been revising digraphs sh, ch, th, ng and qu and completed homework on these. Primary 2 are continuing to work on sounding out words and writing in sentences.

Weather and Seasons topic

We have been learning about the weather. We had fun with our shadows and we observed moving shadows of objects that were still, as the sun moved. We created dens to shelter from the sun. We made kites, wind socks and windmills. We enjoyed playing with them on a windy day. We used a rain gauge to measure the rain.
