This weeks story was Room on the Broom, read to us by Auntie Beth from Dryfemount. What a special way to celebrate World Book Day! Here we are with a little “thank you Auntie Beth!”

Today, the children in Nursery enjoyed a story read to them by Beth from Dryfemount Care Home. “Thank you very much” said Lewis, “the Gruffalo’s my favourite” remembered Bryce and Ethan asked “can we have another one?!

”

Our link with Dryfemount Residential home in Lockerbie continues this week with our Nursery families making daffodils for the development of an outdoor display for their wonderful mothers for Mother’s  Day.  We are so pleased with all your creations, they are just fantastic – thank you! 😊

A big thank you for all the photos sent through for the blog this week – all the children have been  working hard and having great fun!

More fantastic learning happening at home this week – painting, baking, drawing, playing outside, cake decorating, looking after hibernating hedgehogs, creating daffodils, counting vehicles and looking for flowers peeking through on your walks, making leaving cards, pictures and gifts for Anjay  and much more! You’ve all been so busy and we are very proud of your hard work 🙂

Last week was such a busy week for everyone – celebrating Burns with Haggis, Neeps and Tatties, making tartan, painting, going to the park, creating  shops, going for long walks, baking pancakes and cakes! We are very proud of everyone’s achievements 🙂

Nursery are taking some time to think of others and have painted some pictures that make them happy to make others happy. We have decided to send these to Dryfemount in Lockerbie. We also wanted to share these with you along with some spring poems and our bright and cheery garden that we all love.
