EAL consultation with parents and pupils
As part of the EAL service consultation we are consulting with parents and pupils on their experiences of starting education in Scotland. We are looking at what was difficult, what helped and what else could have helped.
We have so far had a face-to-face session with parents from one academy and will be looking to do so with more parents if possible. We have also held sessions with groups of primary pupils and some secondary pupils attended the parent consultation.
Surveys for parents and secondary pupils
In order to reach more bilingual parents and pupils we have created a survey monkey for parents and secondary pupils. These surveys have been translated into key languages (Arabic, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish and Russian).
