The primary 7s have been working on enterprise to help with fundraising for Dalguise.
P6
P6 have been fundraising as well but they have been doing it for their trip to Lochter, which they are very excited for.
P4 P5
The primary 4s and 5s have both been doing Jacobite’s together have very enjoyed themselves.
P7
Has been learning about Birds with the rspb (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds.) and why they are important. They have been making bird food today for bird feeders.
P6
Have been fundraising for lochter by selling toast and pencils for 20p each.
P4/ p5 learning about Jacobite’s and the battle of Coleden, practicing their assembly, and reinacting the battle of Colloden.
P3M have been learning about the water cycle this week as we looked at rivers in Scotland. We found out how the rivers start to form at the top of mountains by looking at the water cycle.
Blackhouses
We have been learning about blackhouses for the past 4 weeks and we made a model of it we needed a shoe box,glue,paint,paint brushes and paper. A black house is a pitch black house with an open fire, box bed, a ben to clean the house, a byre for the animals in winter# a barn. There was crofters, farmers.
We have been doing division, time’s tabel#7 and stations so spelling then grammar then reading. That is what we have been learning about.
We are allowed to mix again and digital leaders are back on. So we are allowed to mix classes again. Hope that you can come again to all of the clubs like scratch club, P3,P4,P5 and coding club and we are going to be making a bunch more blogs now., posting about the junior area and the infant.
P5H , P5S , P4W and P4A have been learning about the Jacobites and the red coats . They made weapons with cardboard and PVA glue. They made weapons like Claymore, basket hilted , dirk, musket and a targe.
We have been learning about climate change and the 7 continents. We have been watching the BBC 7 worlds 1 planet. We have been looking at atlas for the 7 continents.

Nursery
The nursery has been learning about shapes and the size of things in maths.
P1
This week P1 have been keeping their fingers busy! They have been making Xmas cards, Patterns, Finger skills, Decorate the tree and Art and crafts.
P2
The P2s have been making beautiful Christmas cards and have also been completing some Christmas crafts.
P3
P3 has some ICT whizzes in their classes! They made books using book creator, learning how to use glow and they are looking at stories from the bible.
