School disco

This Thursday there is the end of term disco.

The discos are always really fun and always a good time to have fun in school which isn’t maths and spelling. There will be lots of music so hopefully some funky moves!!!

But the disco is not free, you will pay £2.50  (snack and drink included.) As you come in the main entrance then you will go through to the big hall. All of the money raised will go towards the P.T.A .

Everybody will not be in one big disco the hall is not big enough. So if you are P1-3 your disco will be at 6:00PM and will end at 7:00PM. The upper stages disco will start at 7:15PM and will finish at 8:30 PM.

Ballroom Dancing

For P.E. primary 6A and 6B classes have been doing ballroom dancing. We have been learning the Elephant Walk- it is very funny to do or to watch, also the song is very catchy. The Quick Waltz is very elegant, then there is the Mambo which is very hard and you need to be fast at it.

Mr.Robertson has been teaching us the dances, it is fun.

Saint Andrews Day in the Nursery

On Friday the nursery celebrated Saint Andrews day.  The children and been invited to wear a touch of tartan. P6 pupils provided the entertainment. Aiden played the accordion, Lucas played the chanter and  Logan  recited a Scottish poem.  The nursery pupils made stovies and ate them all. They even made their own tartan and their own pictures. After that they also did some scottish dancing and a fiddler also came in and played some tunes: they really enjoyed it. It sounded really good and fun. They  had an amazing time.  they said that their stovies were fine.
