P1 Nativity

On Tuesday 17th December the Primary 1 Classes did their Nativity, they did one show for the parents and another for the school! The parents and all the pupils thought it was great!

There were 5 children in Pyjamas narrating the story of the first christmas, the singing was great and they remembered the words really well, the songs were very merry! The Nativities are always good but this was one of their best ones!

Christmas Fair

Thank you to everyone who attended the Christmas Fair and the adults and children who were helping out. The choir were excellent and the orchestra were superb. The christmas fair raised an astonishing £1853. Thank you to the P.T.A members and Mrs Innes who organised the fair and also thank you to the pupils who made the crafts.

Almost everything was sold ! The girls who were helping sell the P1 fatballs made up a motto “save the birds, buy a fatball”

Well done to everyone who took part; it was greatly appreciated.

These are the things that were available:

felt badges, fat balls, homemade bags, sweetie cones, candle holders, cards, bookmarks, nail painting, decorations, tattoos and many other things.

The raffle was a big success.

Shoebox Appeal.

Volunteers from Vision Romania came to Gordon Primary last Friday to pick up the shoeboxes that have been donated by pupils and parents. A grand total of 80 shoeboxes had been assembled!

These will shortly be making their way to Romania, where they will be given as a Christmas present to young children in Romania. For these children, the shoebox will be their only Christmas present. We are sure they will be delighted with the contents!

Many thanks to all the people who put together a shoebox!
