New Nursery Children

New pupils have started in the nursery this term. There are ten new children in the morning class , while the afternoon  class have got seven new children. The children that  were there before the new children started they came up with an idea to welcome the new children. In the garden they made a swing on a tree , put seats in the corner of the garden and a mini slide for the new pupils to enjoy..

P1 Nativity

On Tuesday 17th December the Primary 1 Classes did their Nativity, they did one show for the parents and another for the school! The parents and all the pupils thought it was great!

There were 5 children in Pyjamas narrating the story of the first christmas, the singing was great and they remembered the words really well, the songs were very merry! The Nativities are always good but this was one of their best ones!

P3 Assembly

Mrs Jamieson’s Primary 3 class shared what they have been learning in a very interesting assembly attended by staff, pupils and P3 parents.

The children had been watching the Nutcracker ballet.

The children thought about the main characters in the ballet, (Clara, the Nutcracker, the mouse king) and thought about wow words to describe them. They also described the setting of the story.

They wrote their own endings to the story of the Nutcracker. In science they made simple circuits, drew pictures of the Nutcracker and used the circuits to light up the buttons of their Nutcrackers.

They also really enjoyed watching the ballet and listening to the music.

Well done Primary 3; thank you for sharing your project with us!
