Chickmania

P4’s Cute and Cheerful Little Chicks.

Mrs. Coutts brought some eggs and a incubator to p4b and we now have eighteen cute, cheerful little chicks. It takes round about 21 days for them to hatch. We got them on the first of May and they hatched on the 21st of May. The incubator does three jobs: keeps them moist, keeps them turning for 18 days and keeps them damp. When the eggs were hatching it was very exciting because we’ve not seen it happening before. There are three black chicks, one yellow chick and ten stripy chicks. Mr. Scrimshaw took four home.

Some people in P4b are taking some chicks home when the chicks are old enough. Mrs. Sell thinks that the chicks are going to have a good home. And we have had fun with them.

Mrs Coutts bought brought some chicks eggs into P4B. Now they’ve all hatched and they are so cute. My friend Peter calls one of them Benjyman and they are now in a box with food and water. The floor is sawdust and droppings – yes droppings. They’re fluffy and when they came out the egg they were wet! And not so cute. Now they play with each other and we are happy.

Choir

On Wednesday 21st May the Choir did a wonderful performance of musicals at assembly. Mrs Innes loves MUSICALS! They worked so well together smashing voices and the piano player was fab.

The songs included the Cup song, Castle on a Cloud and Frozen.

We can’t wait to join!
