As part of Talk Money Scotland Week, the Money Advice Service (MAS) is pleased to invite you to a financial education showcase event – current and future.

You will hear about the children and young people context in Scotland, current research on needs, provision, what works and our future plans. Partners will talk about the projects they are running across Scotland in schools and communities and share what they’ve learned and what impact they are having.

We will also present the findings from our evaluation report of our ground-breaking parenting project (‘Talk, Learn, Do’), which has been encouraging parents to talk to their children about money across Wales since 2016. The evaluation, funded by MAS and Big Lottery Wales, shows that Talk, Learn, Do – a two-hour financial capability session for parents – has been successful in changing parents’ attitudes and behaviours towards teaching their children about money.
