Nursery : The Ugly Duckling

Hello Everyone

Near my house I am very lucky to have a pond. When I was walking past the pond I noticed some swans; a mummy swan which is called a pen , a daddy swan called a cob and some baby swans which are called cygnets. Here are some photos of the mummy swan and her babies, have you seen any swans?

Looking at the cygnets made me think of the story of the Ugly Duckling, I hope you enjoy the story. Maybe you could draw a picture of a swan?

Primary 1/2 Tuesday 16th June

Good Morning,

Yesterday the primary 7 children were invited into school to celebrate the end of their time at primary school. It was a lovely send off and the children were pleased to be able to say goodbye to each other and their teachers.

We now have less than two weeks of school to go before the summer holidays where you will all have a well deserved rest.

You will find today’s power point below, remember to only do what you can and get outside for some fresh air.

Have a lovely day

P7 Tuesday 16th June

Good morning everyone!

I hope you all had fun yesterday!

It was really lovely to see everyone again. You all looked amazing.

Even though it was nowhere near what I had planned for your Leavers’ Assembly, I hope you enjoyed seeing your friends, singing your song and being piped out of St Anthony’s for the final time.

I loved it and I hope you did too!

I have reduced your workload right down for the rest of the week. I have still included some tasks but there is very little written work. Today’s tasks include a virtual school trip to Yosemite National Park in California. I hope you enjoy it!

Please, please, please, if you have not already sent me your videos and photos etc., please do so as soon as possible. I don’t want to miss anyone out but I also need enough time to put all these things together. I have attached the ‘Request Letter’ again and the instructions for the tie video are in the powerpoint.

Have a great day!

P.E. with Joe Wicks you-tube 16th June

Shhhhhh….. make sure you hide this from your dad so that you can surprise him on Sunday with a Father’s day card.

Once you have finished your card you could write something like this inside. Why not try writing your own dad’s sayings 🙂

I hope you enjoyed your day of learning. Remember to be good for mum and dad and try to help around the hous, especially if mum and dad are working from home.

Stay safe and God bless.
