Good morning P3C. I hope you are all well.

Did you enjoy the Sumdog competition last week? Well done to all of you who took part. It is still going and finishes on 21st May. I have created new challenges for you on Sumdog. They start today at 9:00am and end at 12:30pm on Friday 29/05. The challenges are for Money, Mixed Addition and Subtraction, Adjectives and Spelling.

Best wishes, Mrs Dunsmore

Sumdog competition!

Sumdog are running a competition across West Lothian from this Friday at 8am (15th) until next Thursday at 8pm (21st). Every class has been entered into the competition. All you need to do is log in and play the games. There is also a reward once you have answered 100 questions! Good Luck, from Miss McGregor, Miss Blyth and Mrs Dunsmore.

P3 Week 6 Home Learning

Good morning P3 classes. We hope that you are well. Here are this week’s learning activities.  Just do what you can, and in whatever order you want. Remember we have also published activities on Sumdog, Education City, IDL and Active Learn. It is lovely to see your hard work, so please share by tagging @missblyth1 and @MrsLDee  on Twitter.

Next week there will be some maintenance carried out on Active Learn. From 16 May the site will not remember usernames or passwords, so make sure you have them safe somewhere. When you visit Active Learn for the first time after 16 May, you’ll need to type in your username and passwords. If you have any problems, please contact the school office.

The links for this week’s numeracy activities are on the grid itself.

P3C activities

Hello P3C, I hope you enjoy your May holidays. A couple of activities will go live on this blog on Monday. They are optional, so please make the most of any sunshine on your days off. I have also created activities in the Homework section of Education City. They go live on Monday and you will have three weeks to work though them.

Best wishes from Mrs Dunsmore.

Online activities added.

Good morning P3C. I hope you are all well. I have added some food chain activities to Education City.  The times tables songs and games have been reset, just in case you missed them the  first time round. There are new data handling and spelling challenges on Sumdog too.

Best wishes, Mrs Dunsmore.

P3 Week 4 Home Learning Activities

Good morning P3. We hope you are all well and ready for another week of learning activities. We love to see your fantastic efforts so please share your learning when you can by Tweeting to @missblyth1 and @MrsLDee

The timetable on the grid is meant as a guide.  Remember to just do what you can. There are lots of things you can do around the house that count as learning too, such as helping with laundry, making shopping lists, helping with cooking and cleaning.

Good morning P3C.

Hello P3C. I hope you are all well on this sunny morning. It is lovely to see that some of you have been logging onto Sumdog and IDL to complete the activities. Remember you can also log onto Active Learn and Education City.   On Twitter I have shared details of two Education City webinars. The webinars will be helpful for adults at home who would like to learn more about using Education City.  A daily Number Talk will also be shared on Twitter – @MrsLDee – and I’m looking forward to you sharing your strategies. Best wishes, Mrs Dunsmore
