I hope you have all managed to relax and have fun during the Easter Break! Here is an update for home learning next week:

1. Home Learning Grid 3 has been attached.

2. There are new Spelling, Numeracy and Grammar challenges on Sumdog to have a go at and are to be completed by Sunday 26th April.

3. UNICEF are publishing an article alongside some activities every week which explore children’s Rights. This week the article is all about ensuring children have the right to the best possible health. I have attached the power point for this activity.

4.  I have been sharing Number Talk challenges daily on Twitter. The aim of Number Talks is to develop children’s mental strategies. Once they have solved the problem mentally they should then be encouraged to write down their strategies and thinking so that their ideas can be shared. I have attached some examples.  As you can see I have explained my thinking next to my sums.

Don’t feel you have to complete all the activities in one week. Please remember to take time to relax, have regular breaks and have fun enjoying the sunshine!
