Primary 2

This week the children took part in our Scottish Assembly.  Well done to Nathan and Oliwia for reciting their Scottish poems and to Lucas, Cerys, Callum and Kamila for performing The Canadian Barn Dance with pupils from primary three.

We have also been learning about 3D shapes and have used them to make models.  In literacy we have been learning about magic ‘e’ and how it changes the sound of the middle vowel, for example, cap becomes cape.  Can you find some more words that can be changed by adding magic ‘e’ to them?

  1. Just wanted to thank the teachers and school for the brilliant P2 assembly yesterday. It was lovely to see how far all the pupils have come since nursery.

  2. Well done to everyone in P2 – you performed beautifully for the senior citizens.
What would these words say if you added magic e?
    tap
    mad
    car
