Primary 4 Class Charter

To create our class charter we first learned about the UNCRC rights of the child. We then picked out all of the ones we felt were relevant to us in school and took a vote on which ones we wanted for our charter.

We chose articles 12, 16, 29 and 39 and are aware of what they mean for us as rights holders as well as the responsibility of adults as duty bearers.

Primary 7 Class Charter

We spent a lot of time considering which articles, from the UN convention of the rights of a child, were most suited to us in school.

We read the articles.

Highlighted the one that applied to us in school/class.

We considered the most important to us.

We then thought how we as Rights Holders could keep these rights and how the adults  as Duty Bearers, can help us maintain our rights.

Primary 3 Weekly Update

This week in Primary 3 we have been getting used to our classroom surroundings, routines and showing off our learning from Primary 2.

We have focused on our listening skills over week 1 and 2 where we have used the Teaching Children to Listen resources. These resources have been uploaded onto our Seesaw page for you to try the games at home.

Every child has been provided with their Seesaw and Sumdog log in this week which will allow them to access this at home.

Here are some pictures from our second week in Primary 3.

A Quick Message from Miss Thomson

I just wanted to post a little blog message thanking everybody for such a wonderful time at PUSCPS this term. The children have been so incredibly kind, hard-working and hilarious, and everyone has made me feel so welcome.

I’ll miss this school a lot, and I’m sure that P5 are going to be absolutely incredible as they go into P6. Keep on shining like the stars that you are!

P6 Weekly Update

This week we were lucky to receive a visit from the Scottish Parliament education department. We were able to share the information we had learnt this term alongside some inside facts about the Parliament itself. We thoroughly enjoyed this experience and were grateful to have the opportunity to engage fully in the different, interactive activities.

We had our assembly this week, which we really enjoyed sharing with the whole school and parents/carers. We hope you enjoyed hearing about our learning and we will keep you posted on who wins the election!

Thank you so much for coming to support us!

Thank you - International Students House
