P6 have worked amazingly well again this week. Fun has been had learning about Ramadan and trying to create plastic from milk! Lots of people joined in trying to solve a mathematical puzzle, with some getting quite frustrated! Excellent responses were received in answer to the questions on Millions and we had a good discussion about it this morning in our video chat. We learned about Pascal’s triangle and reading timetables this week for maths.  Writing recounts was this week’s genre and many wonderful texts were received showing excellent responses to planning feedback using the success criteria. 2020 term 4 window into learning- learning from home

Well it has been a week where we have shown how well we can persevere! Great learning about area, multiplication, literacy through the novel Million, RME and STEM challenges. Special shout out to Alina and Arran for sharing videos of their hovercrafts in action! Have a lovely Easter break everyone 🙂

This week we have revised our learning about fractions and learned to turn a mixed number into an improper fraction as well as comparing fractions. We continued to work on our shale trail projects and planned our information report writing about shale.

We made great progress with rehearsing for our show- Pirates of the Curry Bean! Keep up the good work with learning your parts:)

We had fun learning about shale at Almond Valley museum with Amy. In maths we learned about equivalent fractions. We have added targets and information to our Didbook. We got the large equipment out in gymnastics. We learned about different planets in science. We finished our peer mediation training.
