Primary 1 have our assembly this Friday 14th June at 9.15am. Our homework this week is reading and to practise our lines for assembly. Our lines for assembly have been stuck into our reading records. If anyone has butterfly or fairy wings could these please be brought into school? Thank you for your continued support.

P3 Weekly Update
Last week we were developing our understanding of telling the time using analogue and digital clocks. We learned to tell the time in 5 minute intervals and we all know that there are 60 minutes in an hour and 24 hours in a day. We also learned that AM refers to the morning and PM refers to times after 12noon and before midnight.
In literacy, we were learning the spelling rules for adding ‘ing’ to words to make present tense verbs. In writing we started thinking about the features of an adventure story and we began to plan out characters for our own adventure stories.
We has a visit from the SSPCA and we learned about looking after rabbits by taking part in the Rabbit Rescuers workshop.
The children have now completed their Bikability Training and are looking forward to practising riding their bikes over the summer. Mrs Hill is hoping to take the children on a cycle ride around the village at the beginning of Primary 4.
