Well done to the Salvesen Boys Football Club (2007 Year) who recently won the football tournament they competed in. What an amazing achievement! It was this proud P7’s turn to keep the trophy for a couple of weeks. Fantastic team spirit display by the boys football team. Well done!
Look at this amazing piece of art created by one of our P7 pupils at East Calder Primary School! The pupils in P7 studied different famous artists. This masterpiece was inspired by Picasso. Well done – what a talent !
Well done to our pupils who took part in the Brodies Team Swimming Championships at the Royal Commonwealth Pool in Edinburgh on Wednesday. Our girls performed in the Freestyle Relay and the Medley Relay and did amazingly well! We are very proud of their efforts. What a fantastic experience for you all 🙂
Primary 1 made a fantastic effort taking part in the half marathon. We managed two laps and loved our medals and goodie bags! Well done.

Our very busy Free Flow was a huge success – thanks to everyone who came along.
We were very energetic this morning and completed our 4 laps of the field as our part of the half marathon. It was great fun. Some of us even joined Mr Millar at break and ran some more!
Today we ran a half marathon outside on the grass. We were building our stamina, everybody in our class ran 5 laps. We got medals for participating. We had lots of fun. Lots of us ran during our break time too!

Jupiter Artland visited the Nursery
Jupiter Artland visited this week and the children had the opportunity to make their own models from clay. They collected natural materials to use from the wooded area in the school grounds. The children were all very excited as their buddies accompanied them during this experience. More photo’s to follow from Thursday’s visit.
We are looking forward to sharing our learning with you tomorrow afternoon at 2.15pm.
We have been exploring magnets and forces and now are working collaboratively to design a game that shows our learning. We will then create a power point to share our knowledge with the rest of the class.
