Community Hub
It was great to be able to visitĀ The Partnership Centre today. After a long wait due to covid restrictions our Hub group has finally had the opportunity to make links with the community again. We had a great time visiting the library, completing quizzes, questionnaires and even had a storytelling session. It has encouraged us all to grab a library card and make the most of this great resource right on our doorstep! Many thanks to the Library and Debbie for opening early for us. It was fantastic to have the whole library to ourselves. Keep an eye out for our next Community Hub visit!
Profiling in P6
We were fortunate enough to have a visit from some members of P7A today. They were sharing their learning and experiences of using a Profile folder on One Note. A profile isĀ a snapshot of a young person’s best achievements at a given point in time. The content of the profile is decided by the young person following a conversation with their teacher or key adult. This is a great opportunity for the class to showcase their achievements and work they are proud of. The class are taking real ownership of the profiling process by choosing not only what they incude in the folder but also when. Each piece of work will be labelled with an explanation to why they have chosen a particular piece of work. The profile is divided into 4 sections
- Maths/Numeracy
- Literacy
- Health and Wellbeing
- Other Curricular Areas
The profile will be populated termly
