We have been learning to use different strategies to develop our recall and accuracy of our times tables. We take part in lots of different activities to help us speed up. We all work on different times tables and sometimes link them to division facts too.
Both Primary 4 classes will be visiting East Calder Library on Thursday 16th May. The children will have the chance to swap the library books they have been reading. Adult helpers have already been arranged.
Very well done for working so hard on your gymnastics you gained these trophies at the awards night. One of you being the Best Newcomer and the other the Most Improved Gymnast.
After a little hiccup (totally my fault!!!!), P4 decorated eggs as part of their homework grid. They have been so creative. Well done everyone. Huge well done to our winner who created an underwater scene with three eggs.

Today we were looking at how we visualise numbers. We had a sheet with lots of different pictures of numbers and we had to write what numbers they represented. The first ones were easy but they got harder and harder. We had to use our times tables to work some of the numbers out.
