Today we had a fabulous Sports Day! The sun shone and the children took part in many different activities.
We got to see all the hard work the children have been doing in P.E.
Well done!

Everyone in P1 has been having fun in our Block Play area. These are just a few of our super creations! We can plan our construction before we start to build and have been very good at collaborating with our friends.

Primary 1 had a special visitor this week from Museum Services.
She brought lots of toys that people played with in the past.
We played with some of the toys and in class we’re trying to make some too!
We talked about the different materials that the old toys were made of.
In class we’re sorting old toys and new toys. We are making a Toy Shop, Toy Museum and a Toy Cafe.
Welcome back Primary 1!
We have had a very busy week learning to tell the time. We are learning to tell the time to the hour and the half hour.
We have also been doing some lovely writing, working hard to remember finger spaces and to sound out our words.
On Monday we are all off to East Calder Library to choose new books, fingers crossed for good weather!
