You have been so creative making your own puppet theatre, Isla-Mae. It looks amazing and I am sure your baby brother loves your puppet shows. Well done!

This is a great idea for a “vegetable hero” Callan. Supper effort with your capital letters and full stops too. Well done!

You have worked so hard to make your own 10 square Finlay. Now you can practise counting on and back to add and subtract numbers up to 100. Well done for this amazing effort!

You have been growing your own rainbow vegetables that you got as a gift for your birthday. You love Science and it is great to see you are enjoying learning more about the world at home. I can’t wait to see how these look soon. Well done for all your hard work!

P7S Visit to Sky Academy

Lights,Camera,Action! P7S were fortunate enough to visit Sky Academy this morning to produce their own News Report on Cyberbullying. Each group were assigned their own studio and roles. From Directors, Producers and Editors to Camera Operatives, Presenters and Reporters. Having previously worked on their brief in school the class were ready to prepare and film their report. It was great to see such amazing teamwork at work and the final cut was both informative and entertaining. Well done P7S!

P2W Wider Achievements

We have a swimming star among the Primary 2W children. ‘Star Swimmer’ of the week award for her amazing effort and commitment towards improving her swimming.

Congratulations ! It was great to hear at the recent Broxburn Swimming Club Presentation that you were awarded the Female 10-11 years Champion. You told us you had to work really hard to achieve the award so you must be really proud of yourself, as are we. Brilliant…The Olympics are calling!

P4/3M Wider Achievements

This week, two P4’s from our class have shared their wider achievements. One made a 3D model of Edinburgh Castle as part of her homework and the other moved up a level in their gymnastics club. Well done!

P4S Scottish Week

This week we have been learning lots about Scotland. We wrote descriptions and drew pictures of Scottish landmarks, researched famous Scot’s and shared facts about them and designed our own Scottish tartan. We all learned a poem and two of us recited them during our Scottish Assembly. We had the opportunity to build a 3D model of Edinburgh Castle. Look at this amazing example. Very well done.

Primary 7/6L Football Achievement

Congratulations on winning 3 awards at your teams award ceremony on Saturday, including most improved player and top goal scorer! Great achievement!

P7S visit to West Calder High School

We had a great time honing our technology skills with Dr Cherry at West Calder High School this morning. I hope your spatula comes in handy over the Christmas period!
