Busy Day in P6

The Primary 6s had a fun-packed day today; we had a visit from SSPCA Officer Lyndsey, who led a fun and informative session about the work done by this organisation. We had a chance to ‘rescue’ a variety of animals and then used coding to program a virtual cat!

In the afternoon, we settled down to watch our yearly festive panto. This year’s show was ‘Puss’n’Boots’, which was streamed live into our classrooms and which we all thoroughly enjoyed; plenty of audience participation and some yummy snacks too (thank you, PSC).

Primary 6/5 PE Days

Hello there and welcome back!

It was so lovely to see everyone again today and begin settling back into school.

Just a wee reminder that Primary 6/5 will have gym on the following days with Mr Millar:

Wednesday 2.10-3.00

Thursday 1.20 – 2.10

Please remember to come to school wearing gym kit on these days .

Thank you,

Mrs Campbell

Hello everyone,

We hope you have had a nice relaxing weekend after all your efforts last week for Sports Day and Health Week.

This week’s grid is based around a theme park context – as well as the grid, you will find a spelling list and some money / numeracy questions.

We look forward to seeing more of your hard work this week,

Mrs Campbell and Miss Beattie

Good morning everyone – happy Health Week!

We hope you have had a lovely weekend enjoying the glorious sunshine…

Here is this week’s learning grid – you will notice there is a big focus on Health and Wellbeing activities as it is Health Week, and don’t forget about Mr Millar’s PE challenges this week as well; hopefully we will have lots more sunny weather to come which will encourage everyone to get outside and stay active.

We look forward to seeing all of your hard work again this week,

Mrs Campbell and Miss Beattie

Hello everyone, we hope you’ve all had a lovely long weekend and managed to enjoy some of the sunshine..

This week’s grid looks slightly different from usual because it’s a short week – as usual, just do your best and don’t worry if you can only do some of the activities, just do what you can do and remember to take some time out to relax as well.
