Mrs Robertson and I have uploaded the new Home Learning Grid for this week below along with the materials you may need.
BBC daily bitesize are creating 3 daily lessons if you are looking for something a little different to try as well. You can choose the year group you are looking for on the web page. We have used one of this week’s activities from the lessons on the website for you to try out.

Happy Easter P3/2C and P3R
Good afternoon P3R and P3/2C,
Hope you and your families are staying safe and well and you are able to get outside for your daily walk or just some fresh air. We hope you have been able to access some of the home learning activities and enjoyed completing them. We would love for you to keep up with reading a variety of different books over the Easter break.
A few reminders of websites you can access for over the Easter holidays if you wish to:
- Sumdog, which is available and there is a competition which starts today, Friday 3rd April, which all pupils are entered in. There are also a variety of games to play on this website including spelling and reading games which are available during the school closures.
- Remember for a variety of games on different subject areas there is also Topmarks – https://www.topmarks.co.uk/
- The Scottish Book Trust https://www.scottishbooktrust.com/ has lots of great resources to use with any reading book.
- Also if you click on audible.com you can access free books through Amazon for a variety of age groups.

P3/2C
P3/2C have been working hard on their gymnastic skills over the last few weeks in PE. They are doing such a fabulous job.

Food Tasting in Science P3/2C
We had a great time trying lots of different foods to describe the taste as part of our science topic on ‘The Senses’ with Mrs Beattie.
There were a lot of interesting reactions to some of the tastes.

Achievements in P3/2C
Well done on earning your new belts in Ju-jitsu! Amazing result!
Book Week P3/2C
We have had a very exciting and busy week in P3/2C. We had an author visit on Monday afternoon from ‘Badger the Mystical Mutt’ which was great fun. We were creating our own bookmarks and masks based on our favourite book characters. We then had our family and friends in to share some reading with us on Thursday which was great. We also watched an Author’s live broadcast based on The Gruffalo in Scots and Gaelic. So so busy!
Achievements in P3/2C
Lots of achievements and awards came into P3/2C yesterday.
Well done to both pupils on winning trophy’s in Dirt Bike Racing and Kickboxing!
We are all so proud of you!
This week in P3/2C
It has been a very busy few weeks in P3/2C. We have been learning lots about our new topic Food and Farming. We even paired up with a farm in Stafford shire and had a Skype chat with Katie the farmer where she answered our questions and showed us around the farm. She even sent us the winning rosettes that her Border Leicester sheep won.
It is also maths week this week and we have been taking part in many different activities to support our addition skills. What a fab and very busy week.
