This week we have been learning lots about Scotland. We wrote descriptions and drew pictures of Scottish landmarks, researched famous Scot’s and shared facts about them and designed our own Scottish tartan. We all learned a poem and two of us recited them during our Scottish Assembly. We had the opportunity to build a 3D model of Edinburgh Castle. Look at this amazing example. Very well done.
As part of this week’s homework grid we had to design and build a firework. Here are some of our creations.
This week we worked together to build actual models from instructions. We learned about working together and cooperating through Lego.
Today we came into school wearing odd socks. We raised money for charity.
We thought about what bullying is and how it can make other people feel.
We had great fun completing our challenges today. We were trying to build houses and street scenes. One had a bank which had eight levels of security while another house came with a pond in it’s garden!
Well done, Alexander, for building these Lego models. You created a volcano with lava pouring down it, a tsunami with buildings being washed away and an earthquake that actually moved. You shared these with the class, extending our learning.
Very well done receiving a 1st medal during your gymnastics competition. We are all very proud of you.
Well done for drawing and labelling volcanoes as part of you homework. We every had a Lego model of a volcano including a lava flow and ash cloud. Amazing work!!!
Today we wore red to think about Racism. We watched a film telling us about it. Here are some of our thoughts;
