Our fortnightly Homework Club will begin tomorrow lunch time for children who would like support or to access resources needed to complete their new grid issued on Monday. Children are welcome to come along to the Library from 12.45 after they have had their lunch

We have all arrived safely and eaten a hearty lunch. The children are all settled into their rooms and are about to enjoy the afternoon activities. It’s stopped raining and we’re all in great spirits, will keep you posted!
The children have enjoyed going for regular walks and exploring our local park and library. They have been learning how to
EE2
The children gain so much from going out into our local community. We would like to be able to offer this experience to all the children in the nursery but we need EE2 (Excursion permission form) filled in by parents/carers before we can do this. These are required for all new children and returning children. We have been handing these out to families of returning children and they would have been in a welcome pack for new children. If you have not filled an EE2 form in please ask a member of staff for the form, so we can include your child in this experience. Many thanks for your support.
LOST JACKET
One of our P3 pupils jacket has gone missing. It is a khaki green North Face jacket. The pupil’s name is written on the label inside. Could we please ask that you double check that your child hasn’t brought it back home by mistake.

Thanks to all our visitors at our Open Afternoon. We had a great time showing them different Literacy activities to help improve our spelling, writing and reading comprehension. We will be developing these skills throughout the year and look forward to sharing with you again.

We hope your child is looking forward to their adventure at Lendrick Muir. You should have all the information you need and a copy of the activity timetable and kit list. Please ensure we have accurate information about any medical or dietary needs your child may have. We were delighted to see so many parents and carers this afternoon in P5/4C. The children enjoyed sharing their learning in Numeracy, Literacy and Health and Wellbeing with a range of activities. All of the adults did a great job with supporting us and joining in, even though it was very crowded and very warm!
