P6/5 Daily Plan
Hello again! Hope you had a good weekend I have been encouraging you to work more independently recently, and that will have to be the case this week as I will be in school supporting the children there.
Reading: I will read the class novel “Wonder” live after morning check ins. The follow up activity is the role of Questioner from Literacy Circles. We will ask each other questions about the books we are reading. You have additional role of Illustrator for this week. Please try to do both. Again just use the sheet as support but write the work into your jotters.
Maths: Please try to download both the whole TeeJay, so we can have a look at what we have learned so far, and plan our next steps
- LI To create symmetrical patterns
- Look at the TJ 2a pages 17 and 18. If you think it is too easy for you do the maths challenge below.
- If you find 2a difficult try 1b pages 15, 16 and 17, and then 2a
- If you find 1b difficult try 1a pages 25, 26 and 27, and then 1b

Spelling: I have up-loaded (into this file: Teams > P 5-6 Mr Colverson > Files > Class Materials > Spelling) the overviews for P5 and P6, as well as P4 and P2, which you can use for additional support. There is also the Fry’s list of common words. I have also up-loaded a list of spelling activities. Today please select activities to suit yourself.

I think I have put up here far more work than you can get through. Please take control of your learning and be selective. Do what is most appropriate for yourself and please do not stress about not getting it all done.
