P3 would like to thank all the parents and carers who came along to support our Learning Breakfast. We enjoyed sharing pancakes, fruit and juice in the dinner hall. Then we took our visitors to our class where we were sharing how we use online games on Educationcity to help us with our learning.
We all had a great time.
On Thursday 26th September, Primary 3 are hosting a learning breakfast. We would like to share breakfast with parents and carers from 9am in the dinner hall, then we will visit our class. 
We will show you how we access our school blog, and education city games. We hope you are able to join us.
P4 would love to invite parents and carers to our Roman learning banquet on Wednesday 25th September from 8:55am-10am in the school dining hall.
We will be taking part in various learning activities linked to the Romans, enjoying a Roman Banquet and P4 will be performing a song for our guests.
We look forward to seeing you there!

This has been a very short week, but we have been working hard on our Wizard of Oz topic. We made red, sparkly Dorothy shoes and it was fun. (Chloe)
We have discovered an interesting fact about Dorothy’s shoes. Her shoes were silver in the book, but they were red in the movie. (Summer) We have been writing character descriptions of Dorothy, the Tin Man, the Lion and the Scarecrow.
We have made a model Lion and a model Dorothy for the class. We are working on the Scarecrow and the Tin Man.

This week we have been reading The Wizard of Oz in class. We have been writing about the story. In art, we have been using a variety of different textures of paper to create some of the characters. We have also started to create large class models of the characters in the story.

DON’T FORGET THE SCHOOL IS CLOSED TO PUPILS ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY NEXT WEEK.
We are excited to announce the start of Fitness Friday at Breakfast Club from tomorrow! Children attending breakfast club, after registering with breakfast club staff and having a snack can attend the fun, fitness session in the hall run by Dynamo Fitness. This club will be a great opportunity to start the day in an active way. Look out for Family Fun Fitness Friday coming soon.
