Maths
This week we have been focusing on counting forwards and backwards in 10’s. It sounds easy, but we sometimes find it a challenge counting backwards from a large number. 347, 337, 327, what comes next?
Language
Although it has been a short week, we have all been working hard on our reading skills and challenging ourselves with our word walls. Please remember to bring them into school every day. In handwriting, we have been practising joining the ‘th’ join – try writing as many th words as you can and remember to join ‘t’ onto ‘h’.
James and the Giant Peach topic
We have been writing invitations to parents and carers to come along and visit our class next week. We are going to be sharing our learning about James and the Giant Peach. This will be an opportunity for us to show you our giant peach and the creatures we have made, and to see around our classroom. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday.
