AVIVA COMMUNITY FUND

ATTENTION PARENTS/CARERS/FRIENDS OF BRAEHEAD…

Please support our PTA application to the Aviva Community Fund…this is an exciting opportunity for our school to gain up to £1000 as part of their ‘Mile & Mingle’ initiative, which will help to put in drainage at the Daily Mile track. This will allow our pupils to complete their daily mile despite the weather!

If we manage to gain 1000 votes quickly, this will secure £1000 for this project and each person can cast 10 votes.

There is a further opportunity to secure up to 10,000! To do this, we need to gain as many votes as possible so start clicking…

Message from the PTA

Parents/Carers/Grandparents/Pupils & Staff have given fantastic support to the PTA Committee over the last year to raise funds to support the school! THANKYOU! Getting involved is a great way to support the school & get to know more faces.

Don’t worry if meetings aren’t for you/you don’t have time to come along – as parents/carers & staff of pupils in the school we are all members of the PTA how much/little you get involved is up to you! Everyone is Welcome.

The PTA raises money for the school that benefits all of our children. Over £8k was raised last year. We hope to raise more this year but we’d also like to better utilise our school family! “Many hands make light work’ 👍😝

You can support the school PTA Committee in a way that suits you. For example for this year’s Halloween Discos could you help decorate the hall? 👻 (We covered lots of boxes in black bin bags last year & added glow in the dark eyes. Much of this was done the week before at home & brought in on the night) , Make up mix up bags for the tuckshop? 🍡Design posters to advertise? 🎃Help supervise/sell tuck/clear up on the night? Do you have opinions or ideas on trying different things at them this year – would you like to organise traditional games like dooking for apples? 🍎 Lots of the prep stuff can be done at a time that suits you (in front of the tv at home) but it keeps you involved!

If you fancy doing a bit have a chat with Rebecca Keenan, Hayley Preece or Lorna Meek. You can also message their Facebook page – Braehead PTA (the one with the red logo) or come along to the AGM 😊
