We are extremely proud of all the hard work our pupils, staff and parents have put into our 1+2 Languages programme. Your support, effort and encouragement has resulted in the School being shortlisted for a Scottish Education Award. To be considered for such an award is a great achievement and we will find out on the 7th of June if we have won.
Many thanks to everyone who took part. The standard of entries made it really difficult to pick our winners however after some deliberation we are really pleased to announce our lucky entrants.
First of all our year group winners who each received a chocolate Easter egg. The winners were selected by class teachers.

Now for our overall winners as voted for by a selection of pupils and teachers. The winner received a £10 book voucher and 2nd and 3rd a large Easter egg.

To all families
Please be alert to Impetigo a skin infection caused by bacteria.
At Braehead we are aware that this infection could be present.
We strongly advise regular handwashing for all children and adults to prevent the infection spreading.
Any child with impetigo should be kept away from school/nursery until the skin has healed or until 48 hours after antibiotic treatment.

Congratulations to all the Primary 6s and 7s who competed in the Stirling Cross Country Championships! They all performed fantastically well in the snow and slush!
Active Kids is back from the 25th January – 30th June 2017 and we would like to collect as many as possible.
Over the years these vouchers have allowed us to purchases a wide variety of gym equipment e.g. benches, basketball stands, mats etc as well equipment for the playground. Our large Connect 4 game has proved very popular in the Early Years playground.
Please send in your vouchers with your child and they will be placed in our collection box.
