A group of big-hearted second year students are fundraising for the schools chosen charity, Mary’s Meals, by holding a coffee morning in Claremont Church Hall on Saturday 10th of March 2018, from 10am.

Mary’s Meals, the Scottish based charity, provides one hot meal per day to over one million of the world’s poorest children in their place of education. Our school have been lucky enough to be paired with Damu primary in Malawi and have to raise an excess of £4000 every year to ensure that children who are not as lucky as we are, recieve a meal in school every day.

A group of third year pupils from St Andrews and St Brides are retreating to  Dalmally on a religious journey to visit the Shed that fed a million, the home and foundation of Mary’s Meals.

Our school, as a whole, have raised thousands of pounds through doing fundraisers and competitions. We will continue to do so in the following years to come.

Mary’s meals provides over 1 million meals a day to school children living in 3rd world countries. It costs just £13.90 to feed a child for a whole year. They have worked in countries such as Kenya, Liberia, Malawi , South Sudan and Thailand.
