Halloween – a night where you can eat as many sweets as you possibly can with no regrets. A night where everyone wears the most ridiculous outfits and nobody looks twice. Halloween truly is the night that you can just have fun.

The night before Halloween, on the 30th of October, St. Andrews and St. Brides hosted their very own Halloween disco for the S1s and S6s. There were various stalls which sold special treats from glow sticks to sweets. There was also glitter face paint and tattoos being sold to everyone.

When you walked in to the school it had changed drastically -from the street where everyone eats their lunch  to a room full of people dancing and music blaring. There were a variety of costumes from hot sauce bottles to army cadets. Everyone made a brilliant effort, I could hardly recognise some of the teachers!

Best dressed teachers must go to Mr Burns as (a very orange) Donald Trump, and Miss Lamb as the doting Carl Fredricksen from UP.

It was excellent for both the lower and upper school to come together to enjoy well deserved celebration. The first years were able to party together for the first time and the sixth years were able to enjoy a night off from their studies.

Lastly I would like to say that St. Andrew’s and St. Bride’s hosted a brilliant Halloween party and everyone who went said they had a fantastic time!
