School Information
Black Mount Primary School is a co-educational, non-denominational school serving children from Primary 1 to Primary 7. Our pupils currently learn across three multi-composite classes: P1-P3, P5/4 and P7/6. We have a current school roll of approx. 47 pupils, creating a close-knit, supportive environment where every child is known, valued and encouraged to thrive.
Black Mount Primary School does not offer education through the medium of Gaelic (Scottish Gaelic).
Our School Building
As part of South Lanarkshire Council’s ongoing investment in high-quality learning environments, our modern school building opened in August 2019. The purpose-built facility provides bright, welcoming and flexible learning spaces that support high-quality teaching and learning, while offering excellent opportunities for children to learn, play and grow in a safe and inspiring environment.
