We received this certificate in the mail today.
Well done Dunrossness pupils and staff, this was a fantastic amount for us to raise
Thank you to everyone who took part in the Stripes for 6 challenges. We have counted everybody who entered and there was a total of 30 students that did enter, to our knowledge. Ms Henderson is going to donate £75 to the Brake Road Safety Charity which is enough to pay for 10 nursery schools to receive Brake Charity resources. This will help teach life-saving road safety skills to children under the age of 5! Post written by Magnus,Hannah & Anders

We have had a great festive term here at Dunrossness.

We will be holding our annual fundraiser on Saturday 9th November from 10.30-12.00.
There will be saasarmeat and bacon rolls, homebakes, stalls, puzzles, games as well as our hampers raffle.
This year we are raising money to improve the acoustics in the hall. Currently there is nothing to absorb the sound, meaning it can be a very noisy place during lunch times and lessons.
The P7 Enterprisers will be selling their wares to raise money for their Loch Insh trip or staycation.
On Friday 14th it is Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day. We are taking part in Dunrossness School. Please encourage your child to wear their Christmas Jumpers and make a small donation to the appeal. We suggest 50p.
The staff will also donate to wear their festive jumpers. This year we will also donate our collection from the staff Secret Santa and Fruity Friday profits for that day.
Thanks for your support.

We have a wonderfully supportive school community and it was great to see so many friends and families at our event.
Save the date for next year! The breakfast rolls will be on the menu again!
