Micro Tyco

Burravoe Primary School has entered a competition called Micro – Tyco; we have been put into two different teams, Super Sellers and Space Mountain. Micro – Tyco has given us £1 to start us off a business to raise money. Micro- Tyco is about raising money to loan money to people around the world to start their own businesses and get money for their families. The competition last for 4 weeks and we will be raising money by different activities.  We are going to do a Bake Sale and Christmas Cards. The bake sale will be on the 16th of November there will also be a raffle as well as the Christmas card sale.

All the money raised goes to Wild Hearts which is the charity behind Micro- Tyco.

Charlotte, Melissa, Kerry and Bradley are the Super Sellers team.

My Trip to Kemble

My Trip to Kemble

On Friday the 12th of October, I had a half a day because I was catching the boat to Aberdeen which is in Scotland. Me and family dropped Wolfie my dog off at the kennels on the mainland. Then we travelled down to the ferry terminal which is in Lerwick, when we parked up in the Northlink parking places and I saw Honor and her family sitting in their car opposite me and my family. We waited for about 40 minutes before we loaded on the ferry. When we parked our campervan we saw that we were in the front of everyone else so we could get off the boat quicker to beat the traffic. When we got into our cabin there was an announcement which said the sea is going to be very very rough! So after the boat started up and got past Fair Isle it was really bumpy. The boat was delayed for 5 hours so we couldn’t be the traffic! When we got off the ferry everyone was exhausted. We drove for ages! My nan and granddad found us a site in Kemble which is near Cirencester. When we got there we were starving so we ate in the pub next to the campsite. After a few days there we invited my uncle to come and see us in Kemble. We had loads of fun with them! The week after we went to Coventry to my nan. On Wednesday I saw my big sister in London, On Friday we travelled to Moffat were I got a lovely scarf and blanket for the winter months. Then we travelled up to the northlink ferry and went shopping in Lidl. Then we got the ferry back to Shetland. Luckily it was very calm!

My Super Holidays

 

In the holidays I went to the bouncy castle at the leisure centre with Abby and Rosie. We went in the car my Dad was driving. After the bouncy castle finished Rosie Abby and me went to Abby’s house Rosie only stayed for tea we had spaghetti Mrs. Sippy chicken and sausages. Then Rosie went home. Abby and me played on Nintendogs. Then we went to sleep. In the morning we watched TV we were watching horrid Henry. Then we started to play with the moon sand. Then we had lunch it was Mrs. Sippy Chicken and spaghetti after that we watched a film and ate a calipo which is an ice lolly .

My Amazing October Holidays

I flew to Aberdeen on the 19th of October and I met loads of people I knew like Gwen, Fred, Matthew, Craig and Keiran. I saw Jenifer and Laurence at the airport and I also arranged to meet up with my cousins torin and Finlay in a restraint and the where a scary man with knifes and said to my cousin torin “you better watch out” and Finlay was frightened, Earlier  that day I went Ice skating on real ice . I met Torin and Finlay and their  mum and  dad again  and I met my big cousin Sarah in Aberdeen  I went to the cinema twice and saw Madagascar 3 and  Hotel Transylvania and on the boat on the way home because it was  foggy  and we saw  Ice age 4 continental Drift. I got a  mini buildabear while  I was away and I called  it swirl when we got home it was 8 in the morning so we got our pjs on and  went to bed then we went to the play park with phoebe , Laura, Rosie , Abby and Lucy . I went to swimming with Phoebe, Lucy, Laura, Rosie, Julia and Martin and I passed my deep end test.

My October Holidays

The Holidays

I played on the Wii the game is called New Super Mario Bros. Wii. I played the game with dad.

Leah, Neil, Mum, Dad and Me went to Lerwick. I got a power ranger samurai comic book in the Co-op.  We have dinner in the car we have baked tattie. Leah, Neil and I have ham and cheese. Dad has cheese. Mum had cheese and pineapple. Then we went Tesco we bought vegetables. Then we went home.

Leah and I played with my toys. I played with Norman the puffin and Leah played with Mr Crabs.

I went to Lerwick to shop. We went to Tescos and we bought food. Melissa and me saw some tvs that you can buy. We had a bake tottie in the car. I played my 3ds I played on Mario Kart 7 and I won. I had a battle game with Melissa.

Going to Blair Atholl

Going to Blair Atholl.

To get to Blair Atholl we had to go on the North Link boat. When we were in Aberdeen we had to go into Perth and Pitlochry up a BIG hill. (In Pitlochry I got ice cream called blue goo.) Our Holiday cottages were up a hill . Mum saw a sign it said Tom Of Lude Holiday Cottages. Our cottage was called The Clipping Shed. It had a cute little kitchen, a sitting room and table in the same room, a little bathroom, mum and dads bedroom and me and Emer’s cute little beds. We stayed there for a week. Then we went back on the boat to get home.

We played bowling and we played Nintendogs and we watched toy story.

Aftr we watched toy story we had some toast. Phoebe had jam on hers.

Zana’s Adventure

Once upon a time in a sandy desert there were two baby warriors born. One was a girl and one was a boy. They were both warriors ready to fight because they got the mark of bravery when they were born (it is like being christened.)There names were Manaj and Zana. They usually go out hunting with their dad at about 8 o’clock everyday to go hunting.  One day Zana got kidnapped, Manaj went looking for her. He found her in a cage underwater so he took a deep breath and dived in, he unlocked the cage and graphed her, and then he swam with to dry land with her. He carried her home and put a towel around her. When she woke she asked “What happened” and Manaj said

“You got kidnapped and put in a cage under water and I saved you.”

They had a party to celebrate Zana’s return.  Manaj asked Zana “would you like to dance” she agreed.

The Miracle

Once upon a time there was a boy and a girl the boy was called Jack and the girl was called Mia. One day they went to go and buy a cat but there was none there. When they turned around there was there was the shop keeper and they asked if he had any cats and he said yes they were behind the counter.

Then we went behind the counter it was a miracle the room was full of cats the girl loved it.

Zak in the Desert

Once upon a time in the hot desert morning a there was boy called Zak. Zak has a leopard skin and a spear. One day I will fight the tiger like my brothers said Zak. Zak was scared of the tiger because the tiger is very long. Zak said I am scared of the tiger. At the middle of the night Zak was dreaming of fighting the tiger then roar sound I was running to get his leopard skin and my spear. I said where’s that tiger I said. But I can’t see in the dark said Zak.  Zak was walked in the middle of the night. He walks forward then he saw a tiger. Zak was running fast. Zak said there’s a tiger coming. Ok said the brothers. The brothers got there leopard skin and dare spear. Then the brothers and Zak the tiger went closer. The brothers heart their legs because the tiger bit them Zak was brave he ran to the tiger. The tiger was so scared of the leopard skin then tiger ran away. Zak was happy because he was not scared of the tiger ever again.

Rain More Rain

Hi my name is Lily and I am a little girl. Say hi to my friend Abby the koala. She is sooooooo cute. One day we were asleep in a tree. It was snowing and raining at the same time. I am so hungry said Abby. In my backpack I have skittles, mentos, water, cheese and ham sandwiches and randoms. Yum yum yum! Can I have some skittles please? Said koala. Do not eat them all said Lily. Okok I will not says koala. I am wet. So am I Lily. I will wish for the rain to go off said Lily. Ah the rain is going off now. Thanks Lily you have helped save my lands from drowning. Thank you.

The Magical Sari

There is a really hot country and it has lots of people there. There is a princess called Suki, she is an important princess. She has a magical sari. She wears it everywhere! It gives amagic to anyone she likes. She wears a special nightgown that’s like a sari. She has a cat, she is called Suri.  She looks like a little leopard really, with spots and ginger and dark colours, she is rather big. They both are strolling to the town. “Look over there Suki it looks like a prince, he looks a little lost” said Suri. “I think you’re right” said Suki.  They are just walking over to him and they are saying “are you ok” and the prince is relieved that someone comes because he is really lost. They are all at Suki’s palace now and everyone is welcoming the prince. He is living in the palace. The princess and the prince are the richest people in the world.
