All P7 pupils are offered the opportunity to participate in the Award of Ambition. The Award of Ambition is an excellent South Ayrshire initiative which encourages and recognises wider achievement.
In order to achieve this award, pupils are asked to complete a range of activities which relate to five key areas: Community, Environment, Personal Stretch, Healthy Active Life and Cultural Rucksack. The pupils keep a log book of these activities which they are asked to submit in May.
The award contributes towards the development of the four capacities which are central to Curriculum for Excellence – it helps our young people to become successful learners, effective contributors, responsible citizens, and confident individuals.
