Thank you to Mr Reid and our Digital Leaders for leading us through the validation process. I am sure we will continue to work hard to ensure that the digitally enhanced teaching and learning in our school will help our children prepare for living and working in the 21st Century!

Just a reminder that tomorrow Thursday 23rd September, is our first Non- Uniform Day of the new session. We are asking that you pay £1 per family for school funds via your parent pay account.

For our Primary 1 parent’s I know that you haven’t yet received your activation letters for parent pay but you can pay once your account is set up. These letters will be issued by the parent pay team soon.

The school will be closed on Friday 24th and Monday 27th September for the holiday weekend ! We hope you all have a lovely long weekend!

Tuesday 28 September: Baked potato with tuna mayo & salad OR Tomato herb & basil pasta with salad and garlic bread

Wednesday 29 September: Mince & mash with green beans OR Veggie nuggets with mash and green beans

We are a nut, mango and kiwi free zone as we have children with severe allergies which, for these children, is life threatening.

We are asking  for your co-operation and ensure that no nuts, mangos or kiwi’s are brought in to school for snack or lunch.

Please note that these ingredients can be found in flavoured water, chocolate spread, biscuits, cereal bars etc. Please always check the ingredients.

School photographs August  2021

All children will receive an individual/family group photo proof in their school bag next week. Only Primary 1 and Primary 7 will  be photographed as a class group.

ParentPay is a secure online payment system that has replaced cash payments in almost all Renfrewshire schools .

With ParentPay, parents and carers will be able to pay for their child’s school meals, trips, events and activities online using a debit or credit card.

This means that we will be unable to accept cash in the school office and failure to use this service to pay for your child’s lunch could lead to debt collection by Renfrewshire council. It may also have an impact on our fund raising and could lead us being unable to provide treats, trips and gifts given to your children throughout the year.

Currently  58% of our children have an activated account and we are encouraging all families to have completed their child’s account by the September weekend this year.

This week all families who have yet to do this will receive an unique user name and activation code.  Please take the time to complete this process.

Elizabeth, our Inclusion Support Assistant, will be available to support anyone in setting this up. You will find her in the playground at the start and end of each day until Friday 3rd September, please just ask for her help.
