Families First is an informal, confidential one-to-one service. We are here for you, in your community, when you need us.

What we can help with

Based in Glencoats Primary School, we provide families in Ferguslie with information and support across a range of different issues.

These include parenting support, confidence building, completing forms, employment training, financial advice, community groups or any other issues you would like to discuss. The team can help practically with things like debt and housing difficulties.

What we can do

Sometimes knowing what to do or where to turn to when in difficult situations is hard, as you want to do what is right for you and your family. From time to time, circumstances throw us off course and everything else is put on hold. Families First Team can give practical and emotional support to families who need guidance. Working with the team gives families the opportunity to turn things around together.

Our vision

We are in the process of setting up a drop in centre based in Ferguslie Sports Centre, which will give families a safe environment to play and learn with their children. Coming along each week will help build self-esteem, confidence and learn new skills. More details to follow.
